I didn't know what I dont know :)

Two months passed by and I guess I broke the rule of keep writing :D Now I am motivated again, so I am back ;)

What have I done in the past 60 days? For those of you who have not bump into me yet, I have changed dramatically over the past 2 months :)

Let's start physical! I lost 8 Kgs and 4" off my waist. Feeling great and didn't know how I can live with the extras before. hahaha... Now I go to gym at least 3 times a week and my next mile stone is to get six packs in about 10 weeks time :D I think it would be such a life changing experience when I see it hahaha.... as I have never had six pack before.

I have also became a seminar junkie and if you are a sceptic, trust me they WORK :) I have learned FOREX, Money Management, Emotional Freedom and MORE. I think if you learn from the best, you will be the BEST faster then just reading it. The ENERGY is really very different. And if you think I am nuts, my reply is "I am the one living the life I wanted now so who's the NUT now?" I have never imagine or know a way that I can make a lot of money quickly. Now I do :D better still, I also know how to manage it :D I am grateful to all my teachers/mentors and was glad that I have the opportunities to learn from their experiences.

My realisations:
  1. Our mind and the universe is so powerful, it REALLY can bring ANYTHING into our life.
  2. RESPECT others as they are always doing their BEST at that MOMENT in TIME.
  3. ENERGY is everything, so feeling GOOD is key to living well :)
  4. FEAR is an illusion and we have to look beyond FEAR and removal of it is enlightening but you have to learn some skills after that. For example, if you can imagine I used to drive 120 KM/h now I drive 160 KM/h, not sure if that is safe so I am learning :D
  5. CONFIDENCE to trust my feelings/emotions are true to the moment and feeling the freedom as I don't carry my emotions around. Now, I understood what emotional burden is and I realised that by clearing this burden, it helps me to stay focus and learn better.
  6. Thoughts lead to Feelings lead to Actions lead to RESULTS.
  7. MONEY MANAGEMENT is key to financial freedom.
  8. How you do ANYTHING is how you do EVERYTHING. (So don't fall asleep on the wheels)
I really believe I have changed. Do let me know what you think when we meet :)

Before I end this post, I also would like to say, "The Secret" and the vision board work, I have attracted all these great teachers and mentors to my life. Thank you :)

To all, "WE have the gift to CREATE"

家好月圓 Moonlight Resonance

家好月圓 Moonlight Resonance, is the popular TVB series which has just ended on Sunday. 40 episodes of fury, love, jealousy, relationship and money. It is a very touching series. Although I only watched about 10 episodes, I think it is a well written and directed series. The characters not only are well developed but strong. It really touches me especially about family values. I was talking about family and the importance of it in my last post. I think for those who have problems or issues with family, there is hope. The series reflect many real life scenarios and also have alternative outcomes which are good practical model answers to life :D Here are 3 of the basics:
  1. The only way to stop a vicious cycle is to STOP HERE and NOW
  2. Always practice compassion and happiness will follow
  3. Be patience
Hope everyone and familiy are Healthy, Happy and Wealthy...

An Island of Truth

What is truth and why I would choose to call it an island? Some of us have lived and not seen much truth. Some would even be so twisted to say the the opposite to be the truth. Some would suggest truth is a perception. I personally have seen some and think, truth is an island because what you see to be true might not apply to others. As a result, truth only holds in the mind and with all the facts and clause in tact; truth will vanish if the consequences change. Hence truth is an island and I hope everyone will find theirs so there will be less misunderstanding and fight as one cannot force their truth on anyone else :)

I decided to share this picture as well. This is a temple wall and walkway at a popular temple in Hangzhou. Life and the picture has one thing in comment, you cannot see the end but because you see the path, you would continue walking. Lately, I have looked back at the past 2 years and realised life is beautiful if you can stop and enjoy the scenery once a while ;) I am grateful to all my families and friends that have supported me and allowed me to grow at my own parse :D

Back to reality ;) Last weekend was a great one where families and friends get together in union for Mooncake festival. I was blessed with great families, friends and clear vision. In the 2 heavily packed days plus I was exhausted from all the traveling, I have saw so much I decide to write it down for the record.

I saw:
  1. Happiness can only come from within
  2. No one will see your way until you show it to them
  3. Money can buy many things but not wisdom and happiness
  4. Blood is thicker than water, so say what you like, family is very important and cherish and treat them well :D
  5. When you are happy, you can drive 900Km even when you are sick ;)
  6. Love shall not be seek but given by others unconditionally :D
Most of us might have read the above points somewhere, but I think these are some of the things one has to see to believe ;) Wow... have I gone CRAZY ? hehehe

To all my friends and family, hope you are always happy and enjoying life where ever you are :D

A new month and start of Ramadan ;)

One more day and I will be going for another exciting FOOD trip. Yeah... I will be in Shanghai, China. Will update you if I have time and internet connection else see you in a week time :D I will be visiting International FoodTec China and hope to find potential importers/buyers in China, and organic and natural products suppliers that are suitable for my new concept in the near future.

Last weekend, was the Merdeka weekend for Malaysians. It is a confusing time for many Malaysians as they have to cope with 2 major extremes: worrying about the Budget 2009 and having fun celebrating Merdeka day.

Enough of of the dry stuff of life, let's go for some food :D. Fancy lunch on Friday. With the last voucher of Starwood memeberhsip, I was at Al Nafourah, LeMeridien for a nice lunch. They served Middle Eastern cuisine in a Moorish interior. More pictures of food and interior on my facebook. I am planning to go back for some Kebabs over dinner. Do let me know if you wanna join me so we can arrange a time :D

From fancy to local and yummy :D On Saturday morning I took my car for service in Old Klang Road so I decided to drop by a small hawker store there to have something simple. Barley with fuchok and Nyonya mee. The Nyonya mee is just like asam laksa but without fish and lots more of lemongrass and ginger flower.... its yummy. Don't like the fish balls and crab stick tho ;)

Another month - Aug 2008

Guess if you read my last post, you would call me a "liar" as I have not been writing for more than a month now. My excuse, I have been busy in the month of August. I was in HK for several day and you can check out my pictures on Hong Kong Aug 2008 and HK and Shenzen Aug 2008 @ facebook. If a picture tells a thousand words, there are plenty of words I am sharing there ;)

My favourite picture from this HK trip is:

While in HK I get to taste lots of nice food, and went to a really luxurious restaurant call "L'Aterlier" which is located @ The Landmark in Hong Kong iIsland. The food pictures is also on facebook.

While traveling, I have also stumble across many interesting things. These include a zen and nature feel Tea house on the 7th and 8th floor of a Shenzen building; A concert produced by my friend with his group of talented young (6-18 year old) performers; went for Sunday lunch with my aunties; a few days ago, also went to a public seminar on "Rethinking The Human – A Confucian Perspective" and taking this amazing picture of the Buddha on a hot Sunny Summer day in Lantau Island in Hong Kong. I realised

"If everyone of us focus only on the good, the right and the Green way, I believe we can change the world fast enough to safe it from the destruction path it is going through. "

Lets wish and believe for the best. Next week I will be going to Shanghai then to HK again, so will update again soon. Stay fit, happy and GREEN.

With Love

Change from Within

Green Green Green

I have been working relatively hard for the past few weeks. With the traveling that comes with my current position, I decided to take a break and chill at home tonight. Believe it or not Oprah was on and it inspired me to write :D

Since thinking and pondering about "Change" for a while, I think the earth we live in and we, the people living on it are very sick and it takes EVERYONE's effort to improve the situation. Although the change we do, might cause a bit of inconvenient or uncomfortable at start, it is crucial to our success as everyone's effort is small, it is important everyone is aware and do their part.

I suggest 5 basic THINK we can do:

1. THINK if our ancestors would do it this way
2. THINK if we can safe some energy (reduce wastage) doing it another way
3. THINK if there is a way we can do it better
4. THINK reuse and recycle
5. THINK fresh

By doing the above, I have managed to save the electricity bills at my home by more than half. The fastest scenario is reducing the air-conditioner use at home, office and in the car. I am not asking to give up all luxury in life or you not to use your air-conditioner at all, but reduce the use to a level where you can save, eg. turn on the fan after the room is cooled down :D (feeling really smart, hahaha)

I believe most of us couldn't be bother with many things as we want convenient and would rather leave things "ON" even when not using it. Another example is home appliances such as TV and radio. I saw program on Astro that day which suggested family will around USD 60 a year by not having the appliances on "STANDBY" mode. I don't know how many families are there in America, for the purpose of argument, if there is 10,000,000 families just America alone, there is USD 600,000,000 saving in energy. Not a lot but a good start.

There are more examples out there, am glad to shave more next time. If you have any tips of living better do SHARE. For those of you who like reading, I recommend joining http://www.boundlessliving.com/

Writing again

This is one of the longest period I have stopped writing. It more than 6 months since my last post. The good news is I have changed job, feeling better, living healthier and living my dreams. I hope everyone is doing the same.

I attended an eye opening event last week in Bangkok, Thailand. It was a special event for exporters, researchers and people involved in the growing, processing and marketing of tropical and sub-tropical fruits. Met up with people who are trying to improve fruits output, fruit quality, better way to transport the fruits and improve health and wellness through research on consuming different fruit based products.

Effective Microorganism (EM) is another interesting topic on improving health and environment. EM can be used to improve inner health and outer environment. Inner health can be improved through taking EM which works like any yogurt drinks. Even better is EV has higher concentration (in terns of quantity and type) of microorganism as compare to standard pro-biotics drinks drinks available from your market. For the environment, it can improve soil quality, farm output and even improve plant resistant to fungus and bacteria.

That's all for now and I will be back again soon. I will at least share once a week from now. Hope to hear from anyone on any more earth saving ideas. Lets solve the world hunger and malnutrition problem.

Happy 2008

The new year is here.

2008 is a great year... A year full of opportunity, wealth, joy and love. Do take this opportunity to change all you want to this year. Personally, I hope to learn more about myself, step forward in life and make my first million :)

On 1st of Jan, I cooked lunch for a few friends and went for a new year dip in my pool. Accordingly, the dip will cleanse away all the negativity from the past and bring fantastic fortune this year. (Superstitious this maybe, I have been feeling good since 1st Jan 2008).

Wish you all a great year, and I hope to keep on posting here sharing the nice food and places I will be visiting. If you have facebook, do add me as I have more yummilicious pictures posted there. Don't forget to check out http://www.themixingbowl.biz/ for your Chinese New Year cookies as another festival is just round the corner.
