A new month and start of Ramadan ;)

One more day and I will be going for another exciting FOOD trip. Yeah... I will be in Shanghai, China. Will update you if I have time and internet connection else see you in a week time :D I will be visiting International FoodTec China and hope to find potential importers/buyers in China, and organic and natural products suppliers that are suitable for my new concept in the near future.

Last weekend, was the Merdeka weekend for Malaysians. It is a confusing time for many Malaysians as they have to cope with 2 major extremes: worrying about the Budget 2009 and having fun celebrating Merdeka day.

Enough of of the dry stuff of life, let's go for some food :D. Fancy lunch on Friday. With the last voucher of Starwood memeberhsip, I was at Al Nafourah, LeMeridien for a nice lunch. They served Middle Eastern cuisine in a Moorish interior. More pictures of food and interior on my facebook. I am planning to go back for some Kebabs over dinner. Do let me know if you wanna join me so we can arrange a time :D

From fancy to local and yummy :D On Saturday morning I took my car for service in Old Klang Road so I decided to drop by a small hawker store there to have something simple. Barley with fuchok and Nyonya mee. The Nyonya mee is just like asam laksa but without fish and lots more of lemongrass and ginger flower.... its yummy. Don't like the fish balls and crab stick tho ;)

Another month - Aug 2008

Guess if you read my last post, you would call me a "liar" as I have not been writing for more than a month now. My excuse, I have been busy in the month of August. I was in HK for several day and you can check out my pictures on Hong Kong Aug 2008 and HK and Shenzen Aug 2008 @ facebook. If a picture tells a thousand words, there are plenty of words I am sharing there ;)

My favourite picture from this HK trip is:

While in HK I get to taste lots of nice food, and went to a really luxurious restaurant call "L'Aterlier" which is located @ The Landmark in Hong Kong iIsland. The food pictures is also on facebook.

While traveling, I have also stumble across many interesting things. These include a zen and nature feel Tea house on the 7th and 8th floor of a Shenzen building; A concert produced by my friend with his group of talented young (6-18 year old) performers; went for Sunday lunch with my aunties; a few days ago, also went to a public seminar on "Rethinking The Human – A Confucian Perspective" and taking this amazing picture of the Buddha on a hot Sunny Summer day in Lantau Island in Hong Kong. I realised

"If everyone of us focus only on the good, the right and the Green way, I believe we can change the world fast enough to safe it from the destruction path it is going through. "

Lets wish and believe for the best. Next week I will be going to Shanghai then to HK again, so will update again soon. Stay fit, happy and GREEN.

With Love
